If you are unable to visit us immediately, place a temporary filling in the broken tooth by purchasing a temporary filling kit.

Brush the tooth as well as possible to stop food trapping in the tooth.

I have dental pain / toothache – what can I do?

Contact Mango Tree Dental to make an appointment as soon as possible.

If you are unable to visit us immediately, take some painkillers that you not allergic to nor able to take and that you would take for a head ache eg. Paracetamol or Ibuprofen.

Avoid extreme temperatures, i.e. very hot or very cold, whilst eating and drinking – this may keep the tooth less aggravated.

If my broken tooth is not hurting, do I need to get it checked?

Yes. We encourage this so that we can advise the best management.

Typically, the earlier the tooth is treated, the more minimal the treatment is required and subsequently the lower the cost.

No. We are able to accommodate both registered and new patients.

Yes. We advise regular check-ups in order to identify and manage any potential problems earlier.

Without regular check-ups, later presenting problems may lead to more complex and expensive treatments.

Mouth cancer screening which can present without any pain, is also part of the dental check-up.
